Practical, collaborative engineer

I'm Anish Neupane (also known as Anish Kumar Neupane, GitHub: anishkn04), a backend-focused full-stack software engineer based in Kathmandu, Nepal. I solve problems with software engineering, focusing on backend reliability, security, and clear APIs, and I contribute to open-source software.

My production experience spans .NET 8 and ASP.NET Core, Ruby on Rails, Node.js and Express, and PHP, with PostgreSQL, Redis, and AWS under the hood. I own modules end to end: schema and API design, implementation, automated tests, migrations, deployment, and production debugging. I'm also a co-author of two peer-reviewed conference publications applying machine learning to real-world datasets.
