- Built the backend of a pathology laboratory management system as an ASP.NET Core 8 REST API on Clean Architecture with EF Core and PostgreSQL, modelling the investigation lifecycle: patients, samples, test panels, results, and billing.
- Designed a strictly enforced report workflow (Draft to Verified to Finalized) with per-lab auto-verification, sex- and age-dependent reference ranges, and soft deletion, enforced with FluentValidation and a Unit of Work.
- Implemented JWT auth with BCrypt hashing, refresh tokens, and role-based authorization, plus an EF Core interceptor for automatic audit history; covered the domain with 144 xUnit tests.
- Owned modules end to end in one engineering, product, and design loop with short cycles and release-aware review.
- Designed and implemented RESTful APIs for user authentication (OmniAuth/Devise), group management, and messaging, following established API design standards.
- Engineered a full-stack Ruby on Rails application from scratch within a two-week sprint, applying MVC architecture with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
- Integrated ActiveRecord with PostgreSQL; configured Sidekiq and Redis for background job processing and Action Mailer for automated email notifications, with RSpec unit and integration tests covering API reliability.
- Architected and deployed a PHP/MariaDB web portal managing 3,000+ candidate profiles, optimised for hundreds of daily users at peak, achieving a 40.7% Google Search CTR and average ranking position 3.6 through SEO and frontend performance work.
